Item 5.02.
Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers

On October 24, 2019, Norman Frey, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of TrueBlue, Inc. (the "Company’), announced that he plans to retire from his position at the end of 2020. Mr. Frey will remain an employee for a period of time thereafter to ensure an orderly transition.

Richard Christensen will succeed Mr. Frey as the Company's Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Christensen has been with the Company since 2015 serving as Vice President and Corporate Controller. Before joining the Company, he served in a variety of senior financial positions with Itron, Inc. and in the audit practice for Deloitte.
